Why “closest to the stage” is not the best seat here

In a normal theatre you pay for proximity. Here the logic inverts. The stage runs over a kilometre wide and 25,000 square metres in area, and the show's signature effects are mass formations of hundreds of performers moving across that whole span. From the ECO rows, closest to the stage and lowest down, you are physically nearer the action but you cannot take in the composition — action at the far end of the stage is a long way off to your side, and heads in front interrupt the sightline. Elevation is what buys you the picture the directors designed. This is the single most useful thing to understand before choosing.

The case for HIGH, which most visitors land on

HIGH sits central and raised above ECO, which gives you the panorama without the VIP price. It is also partly covered, with the upper rows sitting beneath an awning that matters more than you would expect in an open-air venue in central Vietnam. One verified reviewer described sitting “in the mid range 'high' area, near the bottom of it, which was perfect,” and that pattern recurs across reviews. At 750,000 VND adult and 375,000 for a child between 100 and 139 centimetres, it is a 150,000 VND step up from ECO for a materially better view and a partial roof. It is the default recommendation.

What VIP actually adds

VIP is the highest and most central block and it is genuinely small: roughly 136 seats against about 2,088 in ECO. It is the only section that is fully covered, so it is the only tier that guarantees you stay dry. The seats are padded, and reports consistently mention complimentary water, a snack and a hand fan included. At 1,200,000 VND adult it is double ECO. Whether that is worth it depends almost entirely on the season: in the dry months it buys comfort and a marginally better angle, but between September and December the roof alone can justify the difference.

Is ECO worth it? Sometimes, with conditions

ECO is not a trap, but it has two specific weaknesses. It is completely uncovered, and it is flat and low relative to an enormous stage. If you are visiting between roughly February and April when rain is unlikely, and you are willing to arrive early enough to get a seat in the first few rows of the block rather than buried mid-section, ECO delivers most of the spectacle at half the VIP price. If you are visiting in the wet season, or you want the composed wide view, the 150,000 VND upgrade to HIGH is the best-value decision on this whole page.

How the tiers actually sell

Availability tells you something the price list does not. On a sample midweek date the operator's booking system showed roughly 119 VIP seats remaining, about 712 in HIGH and about 346 in ECO. Set against approximate capacities of 136, 764 and 2,088, that means ECO — much the largest block — was the closest to selling out, while HIGH still had most of its inventory free. Practically: if you want ECO, book ahead, because it goes first. If you leave it late, HIGH and VIP are the tiers most likely to still be open. Arriving without a booking is a real risk on busy dates.
